Accounting Manager This position is responsible to assist the Chief Financial Officer in managing the financial operations of the organization. Assist in the development of finance policies and procedures, training of new Club managers, and planning within the finance department. Duties include: general ledger, A/P, A/R, P/R, budgets, grant reporting, bank reconciliations, fundraising tasks and preparation of reports for Board review. Includes supervision of accounting/finance staff. Requires: four year degree in Accounting and/or Finance or substitute equivalent experience, minimum 5 years experience in field. Ability to perform advanced accounting functions, proficient computer skills and supervision skills. Full-time 40hr/wk with benefits. Supportive work environment. Clubhouse Manage - Katmai This position maintains Clubhouse programs, activities, and services that prepare youth for success. Includes program development and implementation, ensuring the Club is open and serving members at established hours, meeting membership and attendance goals, conducting ongoing program assessment and evaluation, and preparing reports. The Clubhouse Manager develops and maintains positive relationships with community groups, donors, the local school and law enforcement. Requires minimum of two years in Boys & Girls Clubs or similar experience planning and supervising youth activities, a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, strong oral and written communication, and basic computer skills. Clubhouse Manager - Fairbanks This position is responsible to plan, organize, implement and evaluate all clubhouse programs and activities at the Boys & Girls Clubs Old Main Clubhouse in Fairbanks, AK. Responsibilities include recruiting, training and supervision of staff, development of programs, goals and objectives, and recommend ways to develop clubhouse-level fund raising efforts. Requires two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Three-years supervisory experience with ability to effectively communicate both written and orally. Sufficient knowledge of child development also preferred. Full-time 36hr/wk with benefits. Clubhouse Manager-Northeast Community Center Seeking a dynamic individual with strong supervisory experience to manage a clubhouse and staff serving in excess of 350 youth members. Responsible for day-to-day clubhouse operations, including program planning and implementation, staff training and supervision, facility upkeep, donor and community relations, grant and program budget management, student transportation, and more. WILL TRAIN in nationally proven Boys & Girls Clubs core programs. Qualifications: BA, and 3 years related experience (school age youth program experience preferred), or similar combination of education and/or experience; ability to train and motivate staff; strong oral and written communication; basic computer skills; and successful background working with youth and families. Must be over 21 years old, with valid AK driver’s license, good driving record, and insured reliable vehicle. Network Systems Technician The Network Systems Technician position has responsibility for supporting hardware and software for staff and members. To include maintenance of the administration networks and assist with computer tech center networks at each site as needed. Duties include cleaning, maintaining, repairing and setting up computer hardware, software, network components and servers, documentation of sever setups and procedures, performing security audits and troubleshooting. Requires a minimum of two years experience in the information technology environment, with emphasis on network design, maintenance and associated software applications. Minimum two years experience with desktop computers to include software and hardware troubleshooting, support and repair of PC and Macintosh systems. Experience with Windows networks as well as knowledge of Windows 2000 and XP operation systems. Linux and Apple network and operating system experience helpful. Transition Service Specialist - Juneau The Juneau Boys & Girls Club is seeking a Transition Services Specialist. This position will provide workforce maturity training, coordinate job placement services and general case support services for young offenders in the Johnson Youth Center. Additional responsibilities include facilitating health and life skills curricula and developing community partnerships. Requires high school diploma or equivalency and two years college education or equivalent experience. Experience in case management and working with high-risk youth is preferred.
