Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy at all times.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska ensures any information you provide will be used only to enhance our services to you. The information you provide will be held in confidence.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS WEB SITE/ WEB PAGE POLICY

No person or organization is authorized to create and/or host web pages or web sites that assert affiliation with Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska (BGCSA), including posting of the Club logo or content, without authorized written consent of BGCSA. This pertains to Clubhouse pages, sports team pages, specific program groups or any other entity wishing a BGCSA web presence.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska maintains www.bgcalaska.org, www.bgcalaska.com, www.bgcalaska.net and affiliated web sites for promotional and informational purposes. Any person or group related to BGCSA wishing a web presence may contact BGCSA Community Investments (249-5417) to discuss adding their content to our main site. Authorized Boys & Girls Clubs’ personnel must approve any web site changes and/or additions or links to other related sites prior to any action being taken.

BGCSA hockey teams, including competitive and recreational teams, may create a page on the USA Hockey web site with the proper authorization and security in place. This opportunity is a team privilege and may be revoked at any time. Grounds for revoking a team’s web page may include, but are not limited to:

  • Posting of offensive or inappropriate content (as determined by BGCSA personnel)
  • Out-dated information.

Team web pages must adhere to BGCSA Club member policies. Web pages may only post team member’s first names and photographs must include three or more youth. No individual pictures are allowed. Parents must sign a consent form (BGCSA Activity Release) to allow information about their child and photos to be posted on any web page. BGCSA will place the team link on our web site (www.bgcalaska.org) for quick access by hockey fans.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska retains the right to amend these policies as needed. Changes to the policies will be posted on our website.
