Registration Information

Please review the eligibility and registration chart below. Scholarships and payment plans are available for those who qualify.

Please Note:
All payment plans and scholarships must be applied for in person at the Athletics Department. All scholarships require 30 days income verification. Your child will not be placed on a team until a payment plan has been approved or full payment has been received. For more information please contact the Athletics Department.

All payments made towards Athletic Programs are non-refundable unless you fall within one (1) of the two (2) categories listed below:

Placement:
If Boys & Girls Clubs is unable to place your child on a team a full refund of fees will be processed to the person(s) who made the original payment. We do our very best to accommodate requests for specific placement of participants. If we are unable to accommodate the specific request, but we are able to place the participant on a team, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Medical:
If a medical condition occurs preventing your child from participating or completing the sport/program a written letter from the doctor/medical institution must be provided to validate the refund request. The refund will be prorated based on the time your child participated in the program.

Eligibility

Open to players ages 4 through 18.

Season

Practices begin in mid-May and games begin in mid June. Please consult the following timeline for additional information:

May 19: Practice begins (Practices will be held at local elementary schools)
June 2-6: Skills camp (additional fee)
June 9: Games begin
July 21-25: Season tournament (U10 and up)
July 26: Soccer Jamboree (U6-U8)

Expected time commitment is as follows:

U6 and U8: One game and one practice per week.
U10 and Up: Two games and two practices per week.

Games are at the following locations:

U6 and U8: Woodland Park Clubhouse.
U10 and U12: Waldron Lake.
U14 and U19: TBA.

Equipment

Boys & Girls Clubs provides a game jersey, shorts and socks. Players must provide shin guards and shoes. Shin guards are required to participate in practices and games. Cleats must be molded rubber/ plastic.

Please note that in an effort to keep registration fees low, Boys & Girls Clubs has purchased 100% polyester, quick drying game jerseys.

Sponsorship

Each team is responsible for a $350.00 sponsorship or team fee. Team sponsors ensure that registration fees remain affordable. Each team sponsor will be printed on the front of their team’s jersey, receive a team plaque with photo, recognition in Boys & Girls Clubs Annual Report, and recognition on Boys & Girls Clubs Athletics’ web page. Coaches

If you are interested in coaching, contact the Athletics Department at (907) 249-5445. Head coaches receive $40 off their child’s registration. Coaches must be 18 years old or older.
