Boys & Girls Clubs salutes Anchorage Assemblywoman Debbie Ossiander for her consistent advocacy for children and quality child care. Ms. Ossiander provided outstanding leadership during the recent revisions to municipal child care regulations. Her efforts ensure that child care professionals present creative and challenging curricula, balanced with safe and meaningful experiences - mainstays of Boys & Girls Clubs licensed child care program. Ms. Ossiander was elected to the Assembly in 2004 and represents the military bases, Chugiak-Eagle River and a portion of Muldoon. She served four terms on the Anchorage School Board, three terms as its president. She is past President of the Association of Alaska School Boards. |
